Do you know about the Neighborhood Story Project, in New Orleans? Founded back in 2004, NSP works with writers around the city to create books that focus on their neighborhoods, their lives. It’s awesome.
For a while now my author royalties from Letters From New Orleans have gone to NSP, but that’s been just an informal thing. Now we’re making it a regular and ongoing thing: 100% of LfNO author royalties go to NSP. Just announced!
This coincides with the snazzy relaunch of www.neighborhoodstoryproject.org, and comes as NSP gears up for its fundraising write-a-thon.
